This policy explains how Business IQ (“we”) handles information across our website (businessiq.io) and the apps we publish on the Atlassian Marketplace.

Our apps keep your data in Atlassian

Our Jira apps are built on Atlassian Forge and make no external network calls. The Jira data the app reads, and the maps and configuration you create, stay within your own Atlassian cloud environment (in Atlassian's Forge app storage). We do not receive, transmit, store, sell, or share that data outside Atlassian, and there is no sub-processor involved.

• The apps are read-only and never modify your Jira.
• We have no access to your Atlassian instance or its data.
• Uninstalling an app removes its stored data per Atlassian's platform behavior.

Information from our website

We collect only what the site needs to function and to respond to you:

• Contact form / email. If you contact us, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, and we use them only to respond to your inquiry.
• Privacy-friendly analytics. We use aggregate, cookieless analytics to understand site traffic. It does not identify you personally.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

How we use information

We use the limited information above to operate the site, respond to support and sales inquiries, and improve our apps and content. We do not use your Jira data for any purpose — we never receive it.

Retention

We keep inquiry emails only as long as needed to help you and maintain our records. App data is retained within Atlassian under your control, as described above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold (for example under GDPR or CCPA). To make a request, email us at info@businessiq.io. For data held inside Atlassian by our apps, you control it directly in your Atlassian environment.

Children

Our website and apps are intended for business use and not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the effective date above when we do. Material changes will be reflected here.
